Crisis and Sensitive Communications

With a ton of experience in different scenarios and my background as a forward observer in the Marines, I have been told I have a very calm demeanor in tense situations. Some of my experience in crisis communications include:

• Led internal communications efforts for merger and acquisitions, and reductions in force for more than a dozen organizations

• Advised executives and crafted communications for job site property damage and fatalities

• Labor/contract negotiation comms for Caterpillar and with multiple nursing unions on behalf of health systems

• Led cyber security awareness communications campaign during increased threats due to military actions abroad for United Services Organizations

• Member of Nuclear Emergency Response Organization communications team, assigned to coordinate communications between federal, state and Dominion Energy’s nuclear team

• Led local Caterpillar response to protests of bulldozer use by Israeli Defense Forces

• Consulted with multiple health systems to build communications during Ebola crisis

• Key contributor to COVID operations communications for major power utility, Dominion Energy, coordination on a national level

• Data breach communications consulting for multiple health systems
